Build on Bookitive
Sell tickets from your own website with our seat map embedded in your design, or go fully custom against the public API. Everything is documented, typed, and free to use with your Bookitive events.
Three ways in
Pick the depth you need — a drop-in widget for most sites, a headless SDK for custom checkouts, or the raw API for everything else.
Seat-map widget
Our interactive seat map on your page, in your design. One script, a typed mount() call, and your cart listens to browser events — the widget handles seats, live availability, and prices.
Browse the widget on npmJavaScript SDK
The typed client behind our own checkout: event info, seating geometry, live availability over websocket, discounts, phone verification, and order placement — with localized buyer-facing errors.
Browse the SDK on npmPublic REST API
An OpenAPI-documented checkout API addressed by your organization and event slugs. Read events and availability, validate promo codes, and place orders from any language.
Open the API referenceFrom script tag to sold seat
A typical embed is an afternoon of work, not a project.
Mount the seat map
Load the widget with your organization and event slugs. Guests pick seats on the live map while availability updates push in real time.
Listen to selection events
The widget reports every pick through typed browser events — your page owns the cart, the totals, and the checkout button.
Place the order
Submit the order through the SDK or the API. Seats are held atomically, payment instructions go out by email, and tickets deliver themselves once the payment arrives.
Something the docs don’t cover?
